[Hallc_running] [New Logentry] Hall C RC Update: July 15, 2025

A lot of work was completed yesterday in preparation for the R-SIDIS running in Hall C.  

1. The GEM detectors were decabled and removed from the pivot
2. HMS and SHMS rotation was checked out and certified (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4417997)
3. BCM configuration updated for high current running (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4417898)
4. Target configuration set up for LD2 and LH2 in loops 1 and 2 respectively (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4418022)
5. Set up of the gas Cherenov detectors (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4418173)

Today, the main tasks will be condensing the targets and relocating the GEM shadow-shielding.  There is also still some work to be done on the SHMS HGC.  The hall will be locked up late day or early swing shift (whenever work in the hall is complete).

There will be work today starting around noon to bring up the 4th pass RF separator, and then the pass change for Hall C will begin.

There will be an RC meeting today at 2:30 pm (in the 2nd floor meeting room in the Counting House) to discuss the hall status and the near term run plan in anticipation of beam tonight.  The usual Zoom infomration is below:
