Unfortunately, we did not have much beam in the last 24 hours. The horizontal separator test plan that Accelerator started yesterday did not effectively finish until about midnight. During OWL, we got about 4 hours of beam and continued with the long optics runs. Statistics for these runs is still an order of magnitude below what we wanted, and so we might need to continue with these settings for a while.

During DAY yesterday, while beam was down, we took an opportunistic Controlled Access to troubleshoot the HMS Q2 power supply. Unfortunately, this was not successful. See https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4374520. Meanwhile, we collected quite a bit of cosmics data.

Since 7am this morning, the Accelerator is down again for work on the ArcA magnet, as mentioned yesterday already. This will likely take much of the day. Hall C is currently in Controlled Access to remove the scintillator bars near the GEMs, troubleshoot some LAD PMTs, and do more HMS Q2 troubleshooting. Also, repairs on one harp near the target are underway. We expect to lock up the hall again at the end of the DAY shift.
