<p>Before getting into the update I'd like to annoce that we are added a dayly task for day shifters to reboot the NPS VME Crates at ~10 everyday.<br />

<p>The last 24 hours have been fairly eventful in hall C. Yesterday at around 13:00 we preformed the configuration change which went smoothly.</p>
<p>Then at around 15:00 a NPS HV crate dropped out on us. After some trouble shooting it was decided that a hall access was needed.<br />
Josh and Mitch went down into the hall and ended up replacing the booster, this solved the issue: <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4246691">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4246691</a></p>
<p>Due to the power supplies being shut down the NPS temps were not ideal. After some waffling about what to do it was decided we might as well take that data anyway.<br />
The temps seem to have been back to normal at around 23:00, which means that runs: 4048 to 4052 are suspect do to the temps.<br />
I'm told Casey is interested in this data for his AI studies.<br />

<p>After that it was smooth running until 5:30 this morning when the PSS B chain dropped us into restricted once again.<br />
I expressed our frustration to the SSG people this morning, they seemed equally annoyed with the issues.<br />
I'm told that the last times it happened the had replaced both of the major components in the hall,<br />
they are now replacing the the media reader in the counting house, as well as checking the fibres running down as well as adding shielding to the components in the hall.<br />
This should hopefully make the system more stable.</p>
