Th-th-th-that's all, folks!!
Porky Pig

Accelerator weer down the whole day, and just started to send tune beam around midnight. Technicians accessed the hall to try to repair a N2 valve, outcome here -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4399835 . Holly installed a polyethylene board between the GEMs --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4399797
There was a small issue with thew target movement during the beam checkout, solved with the help of Chandan -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4400147
After the beam checkout, production were running without major incidents. Well... with the exception, that is becoming regular, wiki page, with the instructions, is down, since this morning.

Your next RC, starting today, will be Hem Bhatt, please give him maximum support during his week.

SHIFT SUMMARIES:
DAY -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4399900
SWING -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4399959
OWL -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4400090

RUN PLAN:
- production
- 10 min/spectrometer single arm measurement (this has been done during Swing)
- Today, there will be Beam Studies for Hall A. In principle Hall C will continue running as normal, but there will be energy modulations of the order 10^-4 (that's my understanding from the 8:00 meeting). Accepting the beam or not it' s up to us. PI will be consulted.

NOTE FOR SHIFT TAKERS (INCLUDING TARGET OPERATORS):
- when non-regular issues come to the experiment counting house, or the hall, always make a dedicated logentry, and be the most explicit possible. If you want, link it in the Summary. Those logentries are potential source of information for future issues, and/or help the experts to address the problem.
- - regular 'issues' starting a new run, these DO NOT need a dedicated logentry.
- keep the shift summary updated.
- take the screenshots correctly, that means showing the information required clear and most insulated from other screens as possible,
- if the shift leader answer YES to the second-to-last question of the checklist, it is expected to happen.

We will have our regular RC meeting in person, at CH conference room at 2:30 (I will be online in order to go on time to the Hall A/C meeting)

Online information here -> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4346862

More information will be filled on the wiki (if it is up)

Recipe of the Day:
Spanish Omelette (tortilla de patatas):
This can be as a snack, an appetizer or as main course. You can eat it warm or cold.

2 lb Yukon gold or red potatoes\
8 large eggs
Olive oil (enough to fry the potatoes)
salt
--> not my favorite but you can add 1 onion

1. peel the potatoes, rinse and slice thinly, but no transparent
2. in a large pan, heat olive oil, medium low temp. Add the potatoes
3. cook for 20 min, do not worry if they breakdown.
4. beat the eggs, add salt.
5. when potatoes are done, remove them from the pan, drain the oil and let them cool down for a couple of minutes.
6. When cooled down, mix the potatoes with the eggs and fold gently, but full mixed.
7. remove the oil from the pan and let just a tiny layer of oil. Put the mix in the pan and cook at medium low.
8. cook for 7-8 minutes. Check with a spatula the borders to make sure it is not stick to the pan, and to verify how cook is it
9. Now the tricky part, flip it. Put a large plate over the pan, and flip the pan with the plate quickly. Note that the top of the tortilla won't be cooked, that's ok.
10. return the mix to the pan, trying to keep the mix well distributed under the cooked layer. Cook 6-7 minutes. DONE

Notes:
-some people love runny egg in the tortilla... that needs some expertise that your humble RC lacks.
-if you want to add the onions, cut it finely and add to the fried potatoes. Proceed as normal.
