Here are some notable things that have happened since yesterday, and the short-term run plan:
<ul>
<li> Yesterday, the beam was off and the Hall was in restricted access for a dry-run ahead for the Secretary of Energy's visit scheduled on Thursday. The dry run concluded around noon, after which we requested a sweep of the Hall to secure it and resume beam delivery as soon as possible. </li>
<li> Around the same time, a <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4446006"> cold box trip occurred in the CHL, </a> resulting in a loss of RF power in the south Linac.</li>
<li> Recovery from the CHL trip took the remainder of the day shift. The Hall received beam at the start of the swing shift, and we have since been collecting production data for the pi- setting for z = 0.67. </li>
<li> Due to RF recovery efforts today, the beam has been off since 8:30 am. The Hall currently being surveyed and will placed under restricted access. We are planning to sweep the Hall around 3 pm, with beam delivery expected by approximately 7 pm. </li>
<li> Tomorrow, the beam will be turned off at 7:30 am in preparation for the Secretary of Energy's visit. The Hall will again be placed under restricted access.</li>
<li> The spokespersons have revised the run plan to maximize the physics outcome as we approach the accelerator shutdown scheduled for 3rd Sept. <a href="https://hallcweb.jlab.org/wiki/images/4/4c/R_SIDIS_Run_Plan_Summer_2025_JLab_v29.pdf"> Here </a> is the updated run plan . </li>
<li>Here are the last three shift summaries from <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4446077"> yesterday's day </a>, <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4446188"> yesterday's swing </a>, and <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4446432"> and today's owl </a>. ABU for last 24 hours – 11.35 hours. Actual Beam in the Hall 13.13 hr.</li>
<li> Ole Hansen will assume RC duty today. </li>
</ul>
