Thanks to MCC, Dave Meekins and the shift workers for helping us complete this extensive study. We resumed production data taking at 50Hz during late DAY, thanks to Silviu who was able to do that remotely from his office (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453107). The SHMS polarity was changed to detect negative particles (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453122) to resume with π− z=0.5</div><div>thpq=8.2 in SWING. By 10:10pm this setting was completed and the SHMS was rotated to 13.51° for z=0.50, θπγ=5.2° (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453441). I know there is a difference in the GUI angle value and angle camera. I have contacted Ellen about this.</div><div><br></div><div>Data taking was smooth during OWL and by 4am, the SHMS was rotated again (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453579) to 10.310° to retake data on z=0.50, θπγ=2.0°. This is the setting that had incorrectly configured SHMS magnets- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4451739. During DAY today we are about complete our last π− setting before switching polarity in the SHMS to detect positrons.</div><div><br></div><div>PS- During late SWING yesterday I spent more than hour yesterday trying to get the printers in the CH to work. Long story short- The upstairs printer has a 'jam in stapler' (I didn't even know printers had staplers!). The counting room-C printer keeps getting paper stuck while printing. The Hall B printer glitches and keeps printing the first 2 pages. And I don't know where the Hall A printer is since there was no one there. So I went to the CEBAF center to print the runsheets! I imagine the copy center won't be able to fix them during this long weekend but I've let them know about this.</div><div><br></div><div>Updates from the accelerator-</div><div>No updates/changes. Still the plan is to perform Beam Energy measurement on Monday and pass change on Tuesday morning.</div><div><br></div><div>Shift Summaries</div><div>8/29 DAY- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4452995</div><div>8/29 SWING- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453316</div><div>8/30 OWL- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4453491</div><div><br></div><div>We will have the regular RC meeting at 2:30pm remotely today-</div><div>Zoom link: https://jlab-org.zoomgov.com/j/1618227115?pwd=8JkhFg6YNesVc3HNgWjwUSIKIu5SvP.1</div><div>Meeting ID: 161 822 7115</div><div>Passcode: 253463</div><div>Dial-in: 833 568 8864</div><div>
