There was an alarm due to low LN2 levels in SHMS Q2 (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454299). I mistakenly contacted her directly instead of contacting the engineer on call. Part of the reason was that someone had removed all copies of instructions titled "Assistance from technical staff AFTER HOURS" from the desks. This is a reminder to the shift workers to never do that. Around 6pm, the SHMS was rotated to 8.11° (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454448) and data taking started with detecting π-.</div><div><br></div><div>At 3:14am, I got a call from the shift crew that the HMS Q3 had interlocked (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454648). They were able to clear the interlock via the GUI but it interlocked again. I contacted Joe who said that this is a cryo issue, when I mentioned that Hall B has been down he said that was probably the issue.. He instructed to keep trying till ~6am and contact him if it doesn't get fixed. At 5:36am, the crew called me to tell me about the dipole NMR interlock which they were able to fix via the GUI (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454675). At 6:12am they called me to inform that the HMS Q3 interlock had cleared (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454676) and they were ramping up to resume production data taking. Silviu plotted the variation in the cryo levels overnight due to the Hall B solenoid tripping here- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454734.</div><div><br></div><div>As discussed in yesterday's RC meeting, the first priority during DAY is to get the beam energy measurement so after completing the last run for second π- cycle for LD2 at 8.1° (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454738), at 8:40am I called the MCC to request the beam energy measurement. The target was moved to Home/Out-of-Beam (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454746) per MCC's recommendation. In the meanwhile, the shift crew were changing configuration to get ready for the optics study (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454771). At 10:20am, the MCC called us saying the beam energy measurement was completed (much earlier than expected!) and the results can be found here- https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4454775.
