[Hallcsw] Improvements in ROOT for JLab ?

Hello, software aficionados !

I am asking users to tell me about any improvements you would like to see
in ROOT ( https://root.cern.ch ).  You may comment on how the package is
supported at JLab, but what I have more in mind are developments that we as 
a lab may request from the ROOT development team.  This idea started with a 
computing roundtable presentation on “The Future of ROOT” with Axel Naumann 
(CERN) last week and subsequent discussions between Axel and Amber Boehnlein,
JLab's CIO.  Let me know what you think, and if there is enough interest we
may have a roundtable discussion with Axel in a few weeks, and you could
participate if you wish.  The roundtable would also involve JLab staff
members Raffaella De Vita, Brad Sawatzky, Ole Hansen, Stephen Wood, Mark Ito, 
Graham Heyes, David Lawrence, Maurizio Ungaro, and me.
