Hi Tegan,

Thanks for generating all the pedestal plots. They are very nice and
cover each channel individually. The next step is to summarize the
information into a a couple of summary plots. For example, it would be
good to plot the means of all the channels in one histogram to see the
total width distribution. This gives an upper bound on the variation of
pedestal drifts throughout the entire run period. One can also plot the
rms for all channels. This allows one to quickly see how many outliers
there are in either distribution.

It would also be good to remove the mean values of each channel from the
histogram. That is, let m^j_i be the mean of channel j for run i. Then
the mean for the entire run period for channel j, mbar^j, would be
sum(j<N) m^j_i / N, where N is the number of runs used for pedestal
determination. Then histogram m^j_i - mbar^j. This shows the deviation
of each channel from its own mean.

Thanks, Elton.
