[Halld-cal] Pedestals for period 11 February to 4 March 2016

Hi Mark,

Because each channel is unique, I suggest looking at the behavior of the
pedestals on a per channel basis for each crate and as follows:

a) Fans with fixed 4,000 RPM
b) Fans with fixed 4,000 RPM and active pedestal correction. There are
various ways of determining the time interval for corrections but one
could be based on a), above.
c) Fans with variable RPM from temperature feedback.

These tests can be performed after the current run is concluded and each
of these tests could be performed over one week, say. My expectation is
that the behavior of a pedestal will be very distinct on a per channel
basis, even though it is not obvious from the mean.

Thanks and best regards,
Fernando
