Hi Zisis,<br>
<br>
As discussed previously, we had agreed that you should post jlab
concurrence of any non-conforming items along with the travelers. I
am copying this message to the listserver so the link can serve as
official jlab concurrence for this item.<br>
<br>
Thanks, Elton.<br>

We can handle the end holes in the rail here. You do not
need to supply anything. If these turn out to be the only
problems, we are in good shape.<br>

<div>Hi all:</div>
<div><br>
here is the mid-month report. We had some
non-conformities on the base plates (pin location) but
perhaps more importantly we missed the fact that RMS
did not drill the end holes on the Drift Chamber
rails. Here's an excerpt from our non-conformities
report which will be uploaded with the travelers early
next week:</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>
<p class="MsoNormal">"RMS failed to drill two holes in
the end of each drift chamber support rail, drawing
#D00000-01-07-2006. We failed to spot this during
our inspection. We’re talking to RMS to find out why
this was missed. These are small holes, that I can
only guess, that Jlab might use to put an alignment
pin in to extend the rail to aide in installing the
drift chamber."<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We think these holes can easily
be drilled at Jlab if we supply them with a drill
jig, drill bit and stop. Tim, please let us know if
you guys can handle them and whether you want us to
supply the jig, bit and stop.<o:p></o:p></p>

Cheers, Zisis...<br>
