<html><head></head><body><div><br></div><div>Hi all,</div><div><br></div><div>I'm happy to report that the 25-elment prototype lead glass detector has been installed under the Hall B tagger and everything appears operational. As evidence, I'm attaching a scope photo. The blue trace is the logic pulse from the trigger module on the front of the detector. The yellow trace is the signal from one of the lead glass blocks. You can see a nice cosmic ray signature: the trigger fires and we also see a PMT pulse in the lead glass. I'm also attaching a photo of the setup underneath the tagger.</div><div><br></div><div>Many thank to John (F.), Dan, and Kei who carefully packed all of the detector components at Indiana and made sure everything was in perfect working order before shipping down here. It was great to open the toolbox and find every necessary tool to smoothly complete the installation today. You all made the job here very easy. Thanks to John (L.), Elton, Ivan, Alex, and the Hall B techs for their help with the installation this morning. We're looking forward to a productive run over the next few months.</div><div><br></div><div>Matt</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><img src="cid:F6B78813-5598-42CC-B1A7-FD3EBE461EBF@hil-orfhshx.dca.wayport.net" width="640" height="426"><img src="cid:726E92C9-9392-4FC5-8CEA-74A64971B06E@hil-orfhshx.dca.wayport.net" width="426" height="640"></body></html>
