<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_quote">[resending using attachments]<br><br><div dir="ltr">Dear Elton, Zisis,<div><br></div><div>I am going systematically through each of the subsystems and looking at raw hits distributions coming out of hdgeant4 / mcsmear, comparing them with hdgeant / mcsmear and I ran into this surprise that the TDC time distributions for the bcal coming out of mcsmear seem to be getting chopped off at t=0. The effect seems to be present at both the upstream and downstream end (end=0 and end=1, I don't remember which is which. I have included distributions for the fADC pulse_time values as well for comparison. These are not being cut off, indicating that the problem is in mcsmear rather than in Geant. I can reproduce this effect in the hdgeant4 output as well, but I suspect that it is a bug. Unless we are no using the tdc outputs right now??</div><div><br></div><div>A question for you both: would you prefer that this message be posted in the HallD electronic logbook, or simply posted to the email list?</div><div><br></div><div>-Richard Jones</div></div>
