[Halld-controls] Hall D Inventory Database

Hi,

A test/eval installation of JInventory for Hall D can be found at:

     http://halldweb1.jlab.org/JInventory

JInventory is the best candidate for a complete Hall D inventory system 
that also captures our housing, power and control hierarchies (e.g. it 
can answer the question "what equipment stops working if electrical 
panel 6 is taken offline?").

Please give it a try, enter anything you wish, modify things, delete 
them, etc.  I will collect comments over the next week and then 
reinstall everything from scratch prior to production use.  Please 
comment on limitations, missing columns, missing functionality, bugs, 
etc.  I also have to de-CLAS-ify all the web pages for use by Hall D.

Next week I will implement as much of your suggestions as I can, but 
note that certain graphical improvements may take some time to 
implement.  The note I sent out a day or so ago lists a number of 
improvements I'm already considering.
