Hi,
I hope to get the agenda out later today or tomorrow, please send me topics.
The main topic will be a discussion with Elton concerning requirements
for pulsing the BCAL and FCAL LED calibration systems (requires TTL
signals). This system needs timing resolution that likely can only be
achieved using FPGA's.
One possible way to do this is via CAEN V1495 modules and VME crates.
Another is via the National Instruments cRIO system. Both have
user-programmable FPGA's; the former is programmed via VHDL, the latter
via Labview/FPGA.
We'll discuss requirements, whether the NI solution might work, and if
so, which of the two might be the most cost effective.
Thanks,

Sincerely,
Elliott
