Hi All,
As far as I know, the outage is still scheduled for tomorrow.
All power in the hall and counting house will be cycled for a short period to check breaker panels. Equipment on the UPS will still be powered as there is an automatic switchover.
Mark will verify the timing tomorrow.
Cheers,

Subject: Power down in HallD and DAQ operations
Hi Everyone,
Important information:
Tim mentioned that on March 1st (Tuesday next week) there will be a power outage in HallD that will last
for several hours (to also upgrade UPS power capabilities?).
This means all crates need to be turned off on Monday and probably also the computers to make sure we
keep potential damage at a minimum.
Who is around to help turn off equipment on Monday?
Sergey, can you take care of the DAQ computers?
Hovanes, are there some slow control related equipment that needs to be turned off in a controlled manner?
Mark D., BCAL chillers?
Lubomir, FDC gas system, chillers?
Beni, VXS, VME, HV, LV crates?
My understanding is that all power is down. Tim, please comment if I misinterpret this power off.
Some of the equipment like the gas system for the wire chambers need to be checked immediately after
the power is restored to make sure the wire chambers get flushed with the least amount of interruption.
I propose that on Wednesday March 2nd we turn all the need equipment back on that is required to take
cosmic data and start up the DAQ to take this data uninterrupted for the following two weeks.
cheers,
Beni
