Thanks Brian,
the EPICS_CA_MAX_ARRAY_BYTES does not change the array size but changes the upper limit. It is easy to check what the actual array lengths of the PVs on the PXI CA-server are once it is running, it is off according to the GUI. Just let me know when you turn it on.
Hovanes.

I won't be able to make this meeting due to a conflict.
PXI spare is on hand in the EEL and has software installed on it, but hasn't been tested in the end station yet.
Found a possible issue with the NI version of EPICS that needs more testing: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000001DbzuSAC&l=en-US
Namely that it says that it doesn't actually increase the array size, when we last performed the ADC calibrations we only insured that the PXI came back online and was updating the CSS screens, but didn't actually test out the FastDAQ analyzer functionality.
I think the PXI is probably offline right this moment, but we'll need to test that some more before doing anything with the spare controller.
If this is an issue with NI Linux RT we might have to install Windows on the controllers.

Hi,
Since we lost our monthly Hall D controls meetings on Thanksgiving and we also will lose the next one in December because of the Christmas break, I decided to set up a make up meeting this week to discuss the status of the slow controls related projects . The meeting will be this Thursday, November 30th at 10:00am. I posted preliminary agenda on the wiki page:
https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/Controls_Meeting_30-Nov-2023
Feel free to add more discussion topics to the agenda.
You will need to use Zoom for Government app to join the meeting. The meeting information is given below.
Best,
Hovanes
