[Halld-jlab] Two short presentations

Hi,

As you know, a PhD student from MEPhI, Ivan Tolstukhin,
came to JLab. He will initially be working on the SiPM
tests. We asked him to prepare two short  presentations
which I believe could be interesting to us.

- development of the SiPM based prototype of the hadronic
calorimeter of the future ILC experiment
(he will describe his work at DESY with the readout
electronics and SiPMs)

- Investigation of scintillator tiles for the pair
spectrometer (we have asked a MEPhI group to do this
studies for us).

It seems that Tuesday after lunch is a good timing for
most of us; I will add the meeting to the calendar
(we will start with the PS talk, the meeting should not
be longer than 30-40 min).
