A message from Larry Cardman:

There has been a lot of confusion recently over the certification of 
Right-to-Work (I-9) documents.

All of you have reviewed theelectronic versionof the the information 
needed forI-9 certification through the online systemand verified that 
it was correct; however, it is now necessary that you present formal 
documentation to the laboratory so it can be verified and copied.  These 
documents allow us to independently verify - for the record and for the 
new system the government has put in place - your eligibility to work.

*It is essential that you do this by this THURSDAY, JANUARY 27.*  You 
must complete this process in order to continue working for a federal 
contractor anywhere.

We apologize for any and all confusion that has been associated with 
this issue, but ask that you please bring your verification documents to 
the laboratory before the stated deadline.  If for some reason you do 
not expect to be able to deliver these documents by January 27, please 
contact Sue Ewing at ext. 7687 to determine whether there might be an 
alternative temporary solution to this problem.

You *must* bring the documents selected from the I-9 website to one of 
the Temporary Document Centers (listed below) to have them verified and 
copied.

process - the on-line form and presenting of documents to HR for validation.
