           + revisit f125 schedule
           + add pair spectrometer
           + add start counter
      * HV modules, low voltage modules, cables starting to arrive
      * Sascha: Chuck has received parts for pair spectrometer read-out
           + would like 20 channels of electronics
      * for low voltage cabling need final measurements
           + Lubomir: three types of cables for cathodes, one type for the
             anodes
      * hired a new electronics technician, starting Jan. 16
      * flash 125: plan is to go out for prototypes in two weeks

Mark S.

      * power off in Hall right now
           + 480 V panel overheating
      * recent activities with the solenoid

Sascha

      * summarized activities with Vardan on initialization of boards for
        online in GlueX notes: comments welcome
      * Vardan preparing templates for level 1 supervisor
      * outlining SOW for UConn with Richard
      * single contract: tagger detector and diamond radiator

Ivan

      * finished all measurements on SiPM
           + will present at SiPM meeting this week
      * planning to start with arrays after pre-amps are received
      * Sasha: want to repeat measurements with laser
           + need some engineered safety controls
           + Fernando: safety documents also needed
      * 25 micron devices will have worse timing resolution at low rate,
        but less degradation at high rate than 50 micron
           + source of degradation not well understood

Elton

   Readyness review for testing SiPM's at Santa Maria

      * one student per test set-up, a couple of engineers
           + three stages:
               1. inspection with microscope
               2. measure rise-time, pulse length and pde
               3. relative measurements of all properties
      * in process of extracting final numbers from tests done so far
           + high-level parameters have not been extracted.
      * three recommendations:
          1. qualify system with SiPM's that JLab has already tested, for
             all 30 units (through PDE system)
                o put in large system, 32 at a time, look for relative
                  performance issues
                o concern: cooling plate very thin, not flat, SiPM's do not
                  touch the plate,
          2. put production manager in place
          3. make sure documentation is up-to-date, put in actual
             procedures

   BCAL

      * need to figure out how to glue light guides onto modules
      * read-out boards are here, getting quotes on populating them
      * will try to put something on the mini-BCAL
      * first article pieces of light guides should be done end of this
        month or early February
      * mechanical parts, light guide fixtures are in
      * monitoring system? something can be done, not sure how much of
        final shipment will be done

   SiPM shipments to Santa Maria

      * got first shipment of 400
      * supposed to get another 600 today

   Spare solenoid

      * PR submitted
      * specification written
      * hope to send out RFP mid-January

Mark I.

      * TOF construction contract at Procurement
      * TOF PMT decision next
      * start counter: need SiPM read-out concept
      * target: Chris Keith should be starting work soon
      * software: nightly build broken due to changes in data model [added
        in press: fixed now]

Lubomir

      * before holidays, 5th cell on second package was added
      * Anatoly was conditioning over the break
      * tested new channels this morning, they look good
      * not ready for 6th cell yet, but probably by end of week
      * when pre-amps ready, will install on first package
           + 4×22 to finish 1st package
           + have 2×22
      * cooling was discussed
           + can use cooling tubes for grounding
           + discussion of source of ground for detector will continue
             offline

Hovanes

      * alarm system for controls
           + getting familiar with various pieces
           + CSS
      * ETC for online
           + purchases for computers will be delayed
           + main part will be pushed to 13
           + activities for DAQ software
                o manpower thin
                o may have to postpone some items
      * need to start planning for counting house after we get it
           + Mark S. has started ordering items
      * NIM electronics for online
           + need to order some
           + some NIM modules exist in F117

Nerses

      * finished with discriminator planning, prototype software
      * looking at scalar module, VME
           + made by Struck
           + has 64 kB FIFO
           + planned use: harp scans
           + discussion of VxWorks vs. Linux for the IOC will continue
             offline
