* we need to speed up rate of claiming progress
** we increased the number of FTEs by 3
** we met to streamline list of online activities
* review coming in mid-March
** we need to submit a plan for commissioning
** will have to explain why some installations delayed
** need to update dates of activities
** officially everything needs to be installed by the end of the project

=Sascha=

* working on BCAL read-out
** coda configuration, translation tables, XML file
** continue with BCAL, reading out crates
** pulser in TI
** Sergey: 2 master TIs
** transceiver for slave TI, not yet done
** 5 extra transceivers
* trigger crates read this or next week
** just have to move crates
* data with external pulser, FCAL
** this week maybe LED
* implementing configuration files
** then read-out F1-TDC
** configuration file, Sergey working on it
* CTP, FCAL cosmics
** trigger from trigger supervisor, read-out 1 BCAL or 2 BCAL or 1 FCAL
* pair spectrometer counters: almost fabricated one arm
** cannot check, box procurement delayed, March 10
* did dose distribution in tagger hall

* translations tables, written in XML, now stored in CCDB
** updated plug-in that reads it
** updated plugin that goes the other way
* re-captured data from latest version of Fernando's spreadsheet
** entered into CCDB
* worked on EVIO output from a split ROC
** running coda 3.0.1 on a virtual machine
** 2 ROCs
** example: enable merging of events streams onto disk
* identified AFECS bug
** fed back to DAQ group
* working to overcome difficulty getting run number from the CODA system
* will do Gluon file system clean-up soon
* hdview2 work to view single tracks
** Beni had a solution, will adopt it
* PyEPICS installed on gluon cluster

* manpower added
** Joe Beaufait working with us
** ACC electricians installed new circuit box in gas shed
** pair spectrometer power supply getting hooked up now
** still need more electrical help
** contract engineer position on hold
* TOF support structure issue resolved
* air system progress: documentation
* gas system
** tanks came in
** still paperwork to do
* BCAL cooling system progressing
* design of TAC and installation plan done
* photon beamline to dump progressing
* goniometer stand grouted, vacuum chamber going in
* microscope support and shielding box design done
* tagger window will be formed tomorrow
* pair spectrometer mapping mechanical set-up done
** next: polarity, hi-pot tests
** will try to get help with this
** still need requirements
* CDC HV connections be re-worked: Slava and Beni are on it
* foam came in for start counter; drawings to machine shop next week
* Facilities installed flammable gas detection system
* BCAL cooling: pressure and leak tested, waiting on power for chillers

* working on FCAL EPICS HV control
** prototype exists
** fitting into scheme developed by Vanik and Nerses
* Nerses due here on March 10
* procurements
** aluminum radiators: 10<sup>-3</sup>, 10<sup>-4</sup>, 10<sup>-5</sup>
** six phones for Hall
** Dave Butler put in some PLC system orders
* PSS system installs started in Counting House
** speaker, status display, crash buttons
* ordered 2 computers to install in Hall
** Sergey ordered stands for these
* power outage in Hall last Saturday
** brought systems up on Sunday
** main network switch was off, cannot control CAEN supplies in that state

=Eugene=

* George Biallas installed relief valve for top of magnet, replaces 
rupture disk
* studying a safer exhaust system for helium, pipe goes to the edge of
   crane, not a lot of room

=Lubomir=

* FDC: done testing and fixing wires using Beni's min-DAQ
** 50% of test done
** tested cathodes with scope
** two cables need fixing
** 1 24-channel F1-TDC is noisy on the output (no spares)
* Cathodes: Cody and Beni working on them
** waiting for that work to finish before testing
** then fixing
** then chamber insertion
* Fast shutdown: chiller status broken

=Alexandre=

* working on pair spectrometer mapping
** OSP
** need requirements
** wants to self-train on software program to control probes
* commissioning target
** met with Matt Marchlik
** will call a meeting for this week [added in press: the meeting will
    be at 3:30 pm, Thu., Feb. 27, in F228]

=Mark I.=

* continue work on data challenge
** new tag over the weekend
** submitted jobs against it
** success rate higher; not quantified yet
* badge rack in counting room
** meeting 9 am Monday in CH with Becky
*** Hovanes, Tom, and Mark I.
*** she is busy with week with audits of RadCon
** give Becky a list of move candidates
*** she checks if they have a radiation badge
*** if so, she contacts them to see if they want to move
*** no move happens without confirmation from the individual
* Collaboration email list moved to JLab
** Security concerns at IU
** Sherman White of CNI helped us with that
* Bruce Lenzer will visit Eljen
** travel planned anyway
* JANA/CLARA meeting was held
* Hall D group list updated nightly as CCDB authors

* preparing of for offline data challenge
* continuing work on alignment
** able to reproduce artificially introduced shifts

* putting single board computers into crates
** DHCP, DNS for all BCAL, FDC, FCAL
* BCAL ready for cosmics

=Elton=

* waiting to work on BCAL
** temperature readout: 2 RTDs not working
* pulser system: wiring mistake on control board
* FCAL remake cables, BCAL remake distribution boards

=Sergey F.=

* planning to look at how to have different subsystems can run DAQ in
   the Hall in parallel

=Beni=

* Last week, ADC read-out showed every 56th event corrupted
** number of samples hand coded in more than one place
** will make it a parameter of firmware
** can read at 6 Hz only; needs fixing
* CDC read-out
** 2 CMU students here
** some cosmic data taking done
** goal: get data for alignment
* gas system
** Ar gas racks next to gas shed now
** CO2: not yet
** mass flow controllers are back from the company
** O2 gas analyzer working, on cart in Hall
