    Hall D Staff Meeting, December 12, 2016

Present: Alexander Austregesilo, Thomas Britton, Eugene Chudakov

Lawrence, Paul Mattione, Lubomir Pentchev, Elton Smith, Sascha Somov,

    Announcements, Eugene

  * Physics Party this Wed. $8, pay Rachel
  * All-Hands meeting last week:
      o budget down $10M if cont. res. goes to year-end
          + Physics budget: down $1M
      o Spring run schedule unclear
      o there is a budget for research
          + let Eugene know if you interested in attending a conference
      o DIRC still in budget, but will be delayed
          + can buy optical boxes, no PMTs (just a few to test equipment)
      o Will invite Dmitry for visit, perhaps one or two others


    Preparations for the Run

  * Hovanes: goni has been tested
  * Tim: threshold on ground fault alarm raised to 558 mV from 500 mV
  * Beni: will ramp solenoid tomorrow
  * Elton: shifts and training, new person stuck without safety
    walk-through and access to Hall hard to plan
  * Paul: will these be charged as PAC days? Eugene: some engineering
    run days left, perhaps they can be changed to that
