  * Tomorrow the new lab directory will tour the lab. Hall D is on the
    tour schedule.
  * Budget scenarios
      o OK -> continuing resolution and 3% increase starting in FY18, 23
        weeks of running
      o good -> 3% in FY17 at some point
  * July: S&T review


    Run Preparations


      Solenoid

  * conductive hoses replaced, will get power supply help from
    engineering division
  * issue with ground fault detector is in the power supply, not the magnet


      tracking chambers

  * Beni: CDC on
  * Lubomir: FDC on


      BCAL, Mark D.

  * standalone DAQ problem now fixed
  * resolution for pi0s not converging, firmware and # of samples is
    different


      FCAL, Sascha

  * Adesh reports FCAL resolution worse as well
  * FADC emulation working pretty well


      Trigger, Sascha

  * ROC FCAL10 working, problem found
  * F1 TDC initialization problem isolated, solution being worked on
  * FADC in TOF crate: received report of bad module from Beni
  * Cosmics planned for Wed., will talk to Sean about exercising emulation


      Online, Sergey

  * new hardware controller for RAID, gives 1.5 GB/s
  * could reconfigure network, but bottleneck is in the RAID, won't be
    done now
  * moving from RAID 6 to RAID 5, three partitions
  * will not switch CODA version this run


      TOF, Beni

  * TOF voltage values ready for all double-ended counters
  * Brad obtaining voltages in parallel
  * new calibration constants and performance tests for lower voltage in
    progress


      Slow Controls, Hovanes

  * goniometer still working
      o preparing jumpers for use if problem with limit switch
        encountered, avoids damage to motors
  * discussed new 45 degree PARA and PERP with Ken Livingston
      o will implement as a separate diamond in the control software
      o each setting will need dedicated scan
      o will use the short-cut alignment procedure this time


      Schedule, Beni

  * they start tuning machine Wed. afternoon
  * hope for progress at rate of one arc per shift
  * beam due in Hall D Mon. afternoon if nothing goes wrong
  * Hall B KPP program: Feb. 3-18
  * Hall D will close on Friday
