* Announcements, Eugene
o Open House coming up May 19
o Budget good until Mar. 31
o Some old MOU are getting acted on, e. g., Hall B with Yerevan
* Computers in cubicles in counting house
o David will install RHEL7 on them
* Engineering, Tim
o Hall steady, working on some other smaller projects
o BDX install on Wed. (dump experiment in Hall A)
o Looking at K_L scenarios
o working on CompCal installation
o on CPP, working with student on muon chamber support
o setting up "little cal" 3×3 crystal array from Hall C, to check
resolution
* Lubomir testing TRD with Sergey
o running both wire chamber TRD and GEM TRD
* David asked about date that high intensity running is planned
o info needed to set requirements/schedule for upgraded products
from DAQ group
o will likely be needed for Spring 2019
o DAQ group can do testing in Fall 2018
* K_L beam workshop, Eugene
o there is interest in K-π scattering amplitudes
o K_L proposal will be resubmitted this summer
+ There is a design concept for collimator cave
+ Luminosity measurement with K_μ 3 and K_e 3 events requires
superconducting solenoid
* The Users Group is looking for nominees for the Board of Directors
o Elton is on the nominating committee
o Candidates for vice-chair, post-doc, and three at-large board
members are sought
