  Hall D Staff Meeting, July 23, 2018

  * Announcements (Eugene)
      o Budget
          + Lab got more money for running
          + Hall D joining purchase for more F250s
              # requires obsolete FPGA
              # there are enough spares for now
      o Operation Review this week
          + related tour of Hall D Thu.
      o Publication list being compiled by Lorelei
      o PAC
          + will wait for full report before comment
  * Run Preparations
      o Tim
          + DIRC running scheduled for Nov.
          + BCAL: corrosion/erosion work
              # removed carbon steel parts from water cooling system
          + CompCal: platform needs mods
          + Power supply for solenoid: going through hot check-out
          + PSS checks this week
          + Hall closes Aug. 17
          + tagger microscope work will not be done this summer
      o Sascha
          + new crates: compcal and dirc
          + new firmware
              # F125 from Cody, still has problems
              # F250: peak sensing error report, 4 ns shift fix, raw
                mode for TPOL (no summary info)
          + PS two bad channels will be fixed
          + Compcal: 30 of 140 modules fabricated
      o Beni
          + CDC gas is flowing, drain time calculation program working
          + will continue TOF amplified base test with better HV settings
  * Data Analysis
      o Simon: issue with spike in t distribution for low momentum protons
          + sensitive to initial guess for covariance matrix
          + also issue with number of hits on track
