<li> Janet Prater is retiring at the end of June

<li> Stephanie will take up her duties</li>

<li> Lab is in Medcon 4 now
<ul>
<li> allowed to have 1/2 of personnel on site</li>
<li> those that can work remotely should continue to do
so</li>
<li> one may be asked to work on-site by one's
supervisor</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Budget: president's budget is out
<ul>
<li> 10% increase in nuclear physics</li>
<li> corresponds to 30 weeks of running</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> KLF beamline design has started
<ul>
<li> initial focus on collimator cave equipment</li>
</ul>

<li> new staff position
<ul>
<li> committee selected 3 candidates</li>
<li> emphasis on data analysis, especially partial wave
analysis</li>
<li> another position may open up soon: send ideas for
needed skills for such a candidate to Eugene</li>

Tim</span></h2>
<ul>
<li> FCAL darkroom almost ready for light-tightening</li>
<li> CPP gas for test in EEL ready to go</li>
<li> Mods to platform for CPP stand underway in Hall</li>
<li> Stand for CPP complete and will be delivered tomorrow</li>
<li> four MWPC for CPP were delivered to the EEL</li>
<li> working with Keith Harding on KLF design</li>
<li> helium beampipe for PrimEx almost complete, some
testing in TEDF to be done</li>
</ul>
<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Other_Items">Other Items</span></h2>
<ul>
<li> Eugene: DIRC mirrors are being remade, not need for
upcoming run
<ul>
<li> Tim: mirrors will be stored in the boxes without
water, other than for possible testing.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Patrizia: when will testing of MWPCs begin?
<ul>
<li> Beni: as soon as the OSP is approved, probably in
two weeks</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Eugene: mods to PS for the test set-up contemplated
<ul>
<li> GEMs in from of North[?] arm, project with UVA</li>
<li> extend energy range to 3 to 10 GeV</li>
<li> GEM detector 40 cm × 5 cm</li>
<li> will run independent DAQ, no need for tagger
read-out</li>
<li> Tim vertical stage ordered for downstream detector
support</li>
<li> there will be 2 movable stages for detectors under
test</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Sascha: survey of beam pipe at FCAL now that it is
exposed since the darkroom is dis-assembled?
<ul>
<li> Tim: will try to schedule it</li>

<li> Sascha: preparations for FCAL II

<li> procurement of crystals an issue</li>
<li> module design in good shape
