id="Plans_for_the_Hall.2C_Eugene">Plans for the Hall,
Eugene</span></h2>
<ul>
<li> CPP installation this week, tower going in</li>
<li> CompCal will be removed</li>
<li> Wed. power will be off in the Hall. Coordinate any work
with Mark Stevens</li>
<li> Solenoid at 80 K, no out gassing so far</li>
<li> Richard Jones and James McIntyre are on-site to
relocate the microscope for CPP
<ul>
<li> Sascha: don't break the hodoscope while moving the
microscope!<br>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Sascha would like some time this week to test the new
TOF trigger firmware</li>
</ul>
<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Diamonds.2C_Eugene">Diamonds,
Eugene</span></h2>
<ul>
<li> Richard does not have an known, good diamonds ready to
go for CPP</li>
<li> He has looked at three 1.2 mm thick samples at the
light source
<ul>
<li> Those need to be split and ground down to 50
microns</li>
<li> The process has a 20% yield</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li> Alexandre thought that JD70-103, 107, or 109 might be
usable. Hovanes was skeptical</li>
<li> Alexandre will discuss the situation further with
Richard</li>
</ul>
