[Halld-level1] ROC id values

Hi All,

  I wanted to give everyone a head’s up that I will be modifying the translation table that converts crate,slot,channel indexing to detector specific indexing (e.g. module, layer, sector, end). The issue is the crate id numbers. The DAQ systems in the hall have implemented a different scheme than what is in the TT and documented on the wiki. After speaking with Alex S., Sergey F., and Mark D., I’ve agreed that it will affect less people at the moment if the TT and wiki were updated. The new (and hopefully final) map will be what is currently in Sergey F.’s svn repository in the trunk/svn/cool/gluex/jcedit/component_db.xml file. If anyone has any objections or concerns, let me know.

  As a side note, this emphasizes the need to communicate these types of decisions in mailing lists, at meetings, and on the wiki (though the latter is of somewhat limited use without one of the former). This just causes extra work that could have easily been avoided.
