Hi Folks,
A new JANA release (0.6.1) is now available.
From the change log:
Changes in version 0.6.1
- Added optional description string to configuration parameters
- Fixed bug where EVENTS_TO_KEEP actually kept 1 less than specified
- Start all 3 high resolution system timers and use PROF timer for
factory call stack accounting
- Added JRawData object to TestSpeed plugin to make it a more
complete example.
- Fixed bugs in janadot plugin and improved display output
- Added option to mark JEventProcessor objects for deletion when
JApplication::fini
is called using optional second argument to JApplication::AddProcessor.
- JParameterManager::GetParameter(key) throws exception when parameter
doesn't exist
- Added AddAssociatedObjectAutoDelete method to JObject to allow ownership
of JObjects to be handed over to other JObjects.
- Copy BMS directory to installdir to preserve platform-dependent settings
- Keep copy of JFactory_base pointer in JObject
The current Hall-D source code base currently only requires jana 0.6.0
or greater. That will of course change as soon as someone decides to use
one of these new features :)
Source can be obtained from the JANA downloads page here:
http://www.jlab.org/JANA/downloads.php
I have also built it for RHEL5(32bit), Fedora8(32bit) and
CentOS5.3(64bit) on the JLab CUE in the standard place
(/group/12gev_phys/builds).
If anyone runs into any trouble with the new version, please let me know.
Regards,
-David
