[Halld-offline] sefaults in GetLastDOCAPoint()

Hi Richard,

     Sorry. I did not get a seg. fault on Mac OS X for the one event 
after running hdview2, and hd_ana a few times with the default build 
options. The "yet" was to convey that I haven't given up trying! There 
is still the possibility that it may seg. fault on subsequent tries or 
on a different platform which is what I'm currently pursuing.
