GlueX Data Challenge Meeting, July 30, 2012

Attendance

    Matt Shepherd, Ryan Mitchell, Curtis Meyer, Paul Mattione, David
    Lawrence, Mark Ito

Minutes

      * We reviewed [15]minutes from the last meeting.
      * Curtis has converted his data challenge document to a [16]wiki
        page.
      * Mark led us through [17]recent progress with the micro-data
        challenge.
      * Organization:
           + To avoid repetition of topics between the various meetings we
             decided to try to keep discussion of data challenge issues in
             the data challenge meetings. Likewise, software details and
             analysis methods will not be discussed at data challenge
             meetings.
           + We decided to start discussing analysis systems in the Physics
             Meetings. Here analysis systems refers to post-reconstruction
             physics analysis, both methods and infrastructure.
           + We decided that to accomodate the analysis system discussion,
             we would stop having reconstruction reports at the Physics
             Meetings.
           + We also decided to invite all interested GlueX collaborators
             to the data challenge meetings.
