Mark and all,

I have to attend a mandatory grid security training today starting at noon, so will not be able to attend this meeting.  I got a minor update to the REST format from Paul M. that I am going to implement shortly.  My plan is to finish the upgrade of the software to a fully separable HDDM data format (truth from fiction, as Mark says) and in the process, go over to the c++ hddm interface in hdgeant/mcsmear.  I highlight that this revision is so extensive that data files written before the upgrade will no longer be readable by the updated software, so it might make sense for all of us to wait until the upgrade is in place before proceeding.  It is up to you, of course.
