Minutes

    Present:
      * CMU: Will Levine, Paul Mattione, Curtis Meyer
      * JLab: Mark Ito (chair), David Lawrence, Dmitry Romanov, Sascha
        Somov, Simon Taylor, Elliott Wolin, Beni Zihlmann

Announcements

      * report from June Software Review exists in draft form.
      * bash set-up for GlueX software ready for beta-testing
      * Elliott and Carl Timmer have complete EVIO version 4 working
           + random access io
           + support for dictionaries
           + contact Elliott for more information

Review of Minutes from the Last Meeting

      * new BCAL digitization, in the repository,
           + bcal meeting minutes has instructions for use
           + available for early adopters

Sub-group reports

Tracking

      * Simon checked in routine for DReferenceTrajectory class to
        propagate error matrix
      * vertex code almost ready
      * Beni providing interesting events errors and bug

PID

      * Pauljust checked in a bunch of changes, minor
           + moving pid info into dkinematic data
           + added time variable to DKinematicData
           + start counter, tof, time at vertex
           + added covariance matrix for neutral showers
      * kinematic fitting, functional, vertex fit work, time not tested,
        multi-vertex not yet
      * analysis software, largely finished, almost ready to check-in
      * difference between REST and using raw data, needs to be tracked
        down

CCDB Status

    See [26]Dmitry's slides.
      * Program for full implementation discussed with Mark
      * SQLite support added

Raw data tape

      * should be done soon
      * translation table, crate/slot/channel to jana object needed
      * read in evio event, for each bank, hardware translation
      * XML formatted table in current implementation
      * Dave and Elliott will figure it out
