[Halld-offline] [1302.3379] The DPHEP Study Group: Data Preservation in High Energy Physics

Denis Waygand and myself are the JLab members of the DPHEP group. The group has been holding workshops etc for some time. Recently (Dec 2012) an "Implementation Board" was formed with a view to forming an inter-lab collaboration to implement a common framework for long term preservation of data.

>From my side I have been trying to work with the halls to propose common tools such as logbook, archiver, data formats etc that will make the adoption of a data preservation framework at JLab simpler in the future. I appreciate the level of cooperation so far.
