[Halld-offline] Crash in nightly test

It looks like one of the two nightly build tests crashed today (
https://halldweb1.jlab.org/b1pi/2013-05-06/b1pi_jlabl3.log ) due to
some changes I checked in last night. I'm not able to reproduce this
problem on my computer, so I was hoping someone at JLab might be able
to help me out by making a debug build of sim-recon with the same
configuration or telling me how to make such a build so I can play
around with it.
