[Halld-offline] critical patch for hdds-root_h

Data challengers,

In trying to get the builds of our software stack to work across a broad
spectrum of hosts on the grid, I uncovered a bug in the code that imports
the geometry into the jana framework in the form of root TGeoXXX objects.
 The bug is found in hdds-root_h.cpp, which is apparently a copy of
hdds-root.cpp with some customizations, not all of which were correct.
 Mark if you would import this into the dc2 tree and issue a new tag for
optional use during the dc2 production, I would appreciate it, since the
code randomly builds unsuccessfully with the bug in place.  The fix to
hdds-root_h.cpp is now in the trunk.

I also took this moment to fix a bug in the CDC hdds geometry and import
that into the trunk, although you may not want to implement this fix as a
part of dc2.
