[Halld-offline] [Revised Logentry] mcsmear profiling

The mcsmear program was run and profiled using the "Time Profiler" instrument on Mac OS X. This was done on bggen generated data that did not include electromagnetic background. (Running with E.M. background affects the rate of mcsmear very little). The figures show screen shots of the profiler indicating the fraction of the time spent in each routine. The BCAL smearing is the most significant resource hog. If it is turned off, then the HDDM event writing becomes significant. Most of that is almost certainly due to it compressing the output stream. (n.b. the input file was produced by hdgeant and is not compressed.) It is worth noting that the "Smear" routine handles smearing for all detector systems except for the BCAL.

The following is the default that includes full dark hits and all BCAL smearing effects (13Hz)
