Hello.

Yes, we intended to use this information to apply sampling fraction 
smearing based on incident particle type, though it never got off the 
ground.  We were trying to implement this for photons recently, but the 
simulation was done in a way that made the implementation more difficult 
than expected, so for the moment, we've stopped working on it.  We're 
weren't yet sure if we wanted to pursue this (by re-doing some of the 
simulations) or not.
