[Halld-offline] Reminder: IT DIVISION MAINTENANCE

The IT division is planning a systems maintenance period on Tuesday, 
Dec. 17, from 5-10 p.m. During this time, there will be an outage of all 
Management Information System (MIS) services while patches are applied 
to the backend servers. All MIS services will be back online no later 
than 10 p.m. The IT division will also release patches to all Windows 
and Linux desktops and servers. Reboot your common user 
environment-managed desktop no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20. 
Finally, there will be short, intermittent outages to central services 
overnight while servers are rebooted to finalize the patch installation.
