Folks,
I need suggestions for builds to delete. For details read on...
As you see from my previous message to the helpdesk, we are running
lowish on disk space on /group/halld. In addition to asking for more
space, I would like to delete files we do not need anymore. Some
information on specific uses of the disk can be found here
<https://halldweb.jlab.org/disk_management/group_report.html>, but as
that page shows really it is our builds which are dominating disk usage.
I backed up and deleted many of them last week, but already I have had
to restore two of them of them due to needs of collaborators. (One of
the restorations was a very old build, not one from last week.)
So I am asking for suggestions of builds which are old enough now that
we can back them up and remove them. The biggest packages are sim-recon,
halld_recon, halld-sim, and hdgeant4. Please send them along. There will
probably have to be some discussion.
