      IT Division Maintenance

The IT Division is planning a maintenance period from 5-10 p.m. on
Tuesday March 19th. During this time, we will be releasing patches to
all Windows and Linux systems. In addition, Core CUE-managed software,
such as Adobe Flash and Firefox, will be released to all CUE-managed
desktops and servers. There will be intermittent service outages
overnight while central servers are patched and rebooted. Finally, plan
on rebooting your desktop system as soon as possible, but no later than
Friday, March 15 in order to finalize patch installation on your
desktop. If you have any questions or concerns about this maintenance
period, contact the IT Division Help Desk at helpdesk at jlab.org
<mailto:helpdesk at jlab.org>, or x7155.
