IT MAINTENANCE DAY
The IT Division is planning a maintenance period Tuesday, Sept. 17, from
5-10 p.m. During this time, there will be intermittent outages to both the
network and the phones while configurations are updated. Outages should not
last more than a few minutes. There will also be Windows and Linux patches
to all Common User Environment-managed desktops and servers. There will be
brief outages of Computing and Network Infrastructure services, such as the
login and web servers, overnight while the servers are rebooted to finalize
patch installation. Finally, plan to reboot your Windows or Linux desktop
system no later than end of day Friday, Sept. 20. For questions, contact
the IT Division Help Desk at x7155.
