Dear Colleagues,

We just built the first full GlueX software stack based on JANA2 on the
group disk. You can source the environment on the ifarm using these
commands:

 > source /group/halld/Software/build_scripts/gluex_env_boot_jlab.sh
 > gxenv $HALLD_VERSIONS/version_5.19.1_jana2.xml

You can safely ignore the warnings, they only show up because jana2,
halld_recon, halld_sim and hdgeant4 use unreleased branches in their
respective repositories. Please try it out and report if you observe any
problems or inconsistencies.

This build was produced with the build_scripts branch 'aaust_jana2'. You
may build your own software stack independent of the group disk with
gluex_install (https://github.com/JeffersonLab/gluex_install):

gluex_install.sh -b aaust_jana2 -s version_5.19.1_jana2.xml -t
TARGET_DIRECTORY

Big thanks to Raiqa Rasool for providing detailed instructions for
building the packages.

Best regards,

Alex
