Dear Colleagues,

We plan to roll out CCDB version 2.0 next Monday, June 17, at 9am ET.
This will require 3 synchronized changes:

1) We will back up the current CCDB mysql database to
"hallddb.jlab.org/ccdb1", which will remain read-only

2) We will transition the mysql database "hallddb.jlab.org/ccdb" from
schema version 4 to schema version 5

3) We will switch the CCDB version in the default environment from
1.06.11 to 2.00.0

Please refrain from writing any constants to the database at the time of
this transition.

After this change, you will be able to:

* read constants from and write constants to the database server with
CCDB v2.00.0 on AlmaLinux9

* read constants from the database server with CCDB v1.06.11 on CentOS7

Starting from June 18th, the interactive farm node alias
"ifarm.jlab.org" will point to the new AlmaLinux9 machines as well.

Thanks to Dmitry, Marty and Sean for executing this roll out. Please let
me know if you have any questions about this plan.

Best regards,

Alex
