Dear Colleagues,
Our group has a strict 400TB quota on the work disk and halld users
currently fill more than 90% of it. Could you please check if you can
delete some of your files or move them to cache (=tape) if you want to
keep them safe?
Please remember, /work is not backed up! Do not keep anything on /work
which you cannot restore from another, non-/work location (e.g. GitHub,
/group, /home or /mss) or regenerate automatically. In particular, it is
not intended for permanent data storage!
More info about the file system can be found here:
https://jlab.servicenowservices.com/scicomp/?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0014902
From now on, the SciComp website shows the usage per user:
https://scicomp.jlab.org/scicomp/workDisk
Below I pasted all users that occupy more than 10TB:
ijaegle 27T
andrsmit 22T
mcwrap 20T
aaustreg 19T
gxproj9 18T
gxproj2 18T
staylor 17T
ksuresh 17T
jzarling 17T
amfoda 14T
dalton 14T
nwickjlb 11T
We appreciate your help to make some space!
Alex
