    Thanks guys. I rebuilt my hdds with a modern version and hd_root ran
    to completion.<br>

    I am getting FCAL cluster warnings (see the attached) when running
    hd_root. Are these ignorable?<br>

                      There is a ccdb lookup that is not working. I got
                      a different error, but similar, back when I was
                      using an instance of the sqlite database that was
                      not current with my src build. I would try (a)
                      scons -c && scons install; (b) generate a
                      fresh copy of the sqlite file and make sure your
                      environment points to it.
