<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>Following the discussion at the Offline meeting yesterday, I went ahead and changed the Hit Factory code so that the per-detector time offsets are loaded from the CCDB instead of being hardcoded.</div><div><br></div><div>What does this mean for you? If you are running over HDDM files, this change doesn't affect you. If you are running over EVIO files corresponding to actual data, then you don't have to do anything (the default time offsets are set to 0). If you are running over EVIO files created from simulated data, then you need to select the "mc" CCDB variation (the time offsets for this variation are currently set to the -100 ns default used in the HDDM -> EVIO conversion). <div><font>To create and test a evio file, create a work directory and copy these 5 scripts from the above web folder into it, plus the input control.ini file that goes with them. Then run the 5 scripts listed above without arguments, in the order given. The
last step just shows how to read the evio file and make an analysis on it.</font></div>
