<p>I've tagged a new release of sim-recon, version 2.16.0. This
version includes improvements in hdgeant (GEANT3 version).<br>
</p>
<p>Find the release notes <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/sim-recon/releases/tag/2.16.0">here</a>.</p>
<p>At JLab the build was done using versions listed in <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://halldweb.jlab.org/dist/version_2.13.1.xml">version_2.13.1_jlab.xml</a>.
The generic xml file is <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://halldweb.jlab.org/dist/version_2.13.1.xml">version_2.13.1.xml</a>.
This version set has a lot of upgrades. In addition to sim-recon,
the packages for jana, root, ccdb, hdgeant4, and
gluex_root_analysis have all undergone version upgrades relative
to <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://halldweb.jlab.org/dist/version_2.12.xml">version_2.12.xml</a>.
Note that 2.13.1 differs just slightly from the one Richard used
for his recent OSG container.</p>
<p>At JLab, for RHEL6 and CentOS6 only, the build depends on custom
versions of Python that I built in /group/halld/Software/builds as
discussed on the <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://groups.google.com/forum/#%21topic/gluex-software/1VmYx2QZex0">software
help list</a>.<br>

<p>The default version of sim-recon will change at JLab at midnight
tonight.<br>
