    <p>Folks,</p>
    <p>A new version set has been released: <a moz-do-not-send="true"
        href="https://halldweb.jlab.org/halld_versions/version_4.22.0.xml">version_4.22.0.xml</a>.
      This one has update releases of halld_recon, halld_sim, hdgeant4,
      hd_utilities, and gluex_root analysis. HDGeant4 now has its
      multi-threaded capability fixed via patches to Geant4.</p>
    <p>Here are the updated packages, with links to the release notes:</p>

          href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/halld_recon/releases/tag/4.17.0">halld_recon
          4.17.0</a></li>
      <li><a moz-do-not-send="true"
          href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/halld_sim/releases/tag/4.18.0">halld_sim
          4.18.0</a></li>
      <li><a moz-do-not-send="true"
          href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/HDGeant4/releases/tag/2.14.0">hdgeant4
          2.14.0</a></li>
      <li><a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/gluex_root_analysis/releases/tag/1.11.0">gluex_root_analysis
          1.11.0</a></li>
      <li><a moz-do-not-send="true"
          href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/hd_utilities/releases/tag/1.23">hd_utilities
          1.23</a></li>
    </ul>
    <p>Note the the "compare to the previous release" report from GitHub
      for this new version of hdgeant4 is incorrect in that it includes
      many old commits. I don't understand this fully, but it seems to
      be a GitHub "feature" and seems to not harm the release itself.</p>
    <p>version set 4.22.0 is now the default in the <a
        moz-do-not-send="true"
        href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/halld_versions">halld_versions
        repository</a> and will become the default at JLab at midnight
      tonight.<br>
