<p>Today, pull request tests have been failing due to a
missing RPM on sandd1.jlab.org, where the tests run.
hdgeant4 could not find one of its shared libraries.
Mark submitted a request to have the
boost-python36-devel package installed.

<h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Review_of_minutes_from_the_last_meeting">Review of
minutes from the last meeting</span></h3>
<p>We went over the <a href="https://halldweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/HDGeant4_Meeting,_August_10,_2021#Minutes" title="HDGeant4 Meeting, August 10, 2021">minutes from
the meeting on August 10</a>. We discussed <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="https://github.com/JeffersonLab/HDGeant4/issues/181">Issue
#181</a>: G3/G4 Difference in FDC wire efficiency at
the cell boundary. Alex has posted his efficiency
measurement on bggen events. Using an old version of the
reconstruction code, he shows a similar difference in
efficiency when compared to simulated ρ events as
Richard showed with modern reconstruction.
</p>
<p>We came to the conclusion that further investigation
was getting into the region of diminishing marginal
returns and the changes already made to mcsmear are a
bit advance over what we had before. Alex will close
this issue. If further investigation turns out to be
necessary, the issue can be re-raised for the halld_sim
repository.
